Marek Zaprazny Turns Pro for Primitive With “FYG” Video Part
There’s no denying the tear that Marek Zaprazny has been on for the past several years. For someone to come out of Slovakia and gain the level of international attention that he has is unprecedented. The hard work has clearly paid off. Check out Marek’s pro debut for Primitive above, and read P-Rod’s official announcement below.
When we first started flowing boards to an underground ripper from Slovakia called Marek Zaprazny, one of the first things that struck me was that Marek always let his skating do the talking for him; he would go off the radar for a few months and then out of nowhere he would send us footage of gnarly tricks that looked like they were filmed in every corner of the world. Every time the Primitive Skate squad ventured out to Barcelona, they would come back with a stack of Marek clips and tales of him killing it both on and off the board. And when he started coming out to the States—and I saw him skate firsthand—I knew it was only a matter of time before we turned him pro. I feel blessed to be at the point in my career where I have the opportunity to be part of someone like Marek’s dream. And I’m really happy to bring even more European flavor in to the Primitive skate pro ranks. So without further ado, it’s my huge pleasure to say “Fuck yes my G! You’re pro!”
