Yuto Horigome, Rayssa Leal are the 2022 SLS Jacksonville Winners

Olympic Gold Medalist Yuto Horigome won the Jacksonville, Florida leg of the Men’s Street League Skateboarding Tour 2022.

Coming in at 2nd place was Sora Shirai who qualified for the SLS Tour by winning the Pre-Season Tour Qualifiers earlier this year. Gustavo Ribeiro finished third in the competition.

Former SLS Super Crown Champion Nyjah Huston ranked first in the prelims but only finished fifth in the finals.

A total of 25 male skaters competed in this event with the top eight advancing to the SLS Jacksonville finals.

Rayssa Leal came in strong in the prelims placing first and eventually won the 2022 Women’s SLS Jacksonville stop.

Yumeka Oda was a consistent 2nd placer in the prelims and finals. The 2021 Women’s Super Crown Champion Pamela Rosa placed 3rd in the finals.

The next stop of the 2022 SLS Tour will be in Seattle, WA on August 13-14 and the third leg of the tour will be in Las Vegas, NV on October 8-9.

The top four skaters based on the cumulative tour points of the three stops will automatically qualify for the SLS Super Crown Championship. The rest of the competitors will battle it out for the other four slots in the Championship Finals.

The Super Crown will be held on November 5-6 at the Arena Carloca 1, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
