Steve Brandi and Jahmal Williams released one of the more enjoyable clips of 2018 for the Hopps x Converse collaboration. Steve also came out as gay in a new interview by Josh Stewart, which was published in the latest issue of Thrasher. As thoroughly discussed in the Brian Anderson episode of Mission Statement, this takes a ton of courage as a professional athlete in any sport. It’s great to see that skateboarding seems to be leading the way in terms of embracing athlete diversity when it comes to the LGBTQ community.
