Tyshawn Jones bags the 2022 Skater of the Year Award

Tyshawn Jones earned the 2022 Skater of the Year title, the second in his career.

Tyshawn first got the SOTY in 2018. He is one of the three double-recipients of the title, the other two being Danny Way and Chris Cole.

The two-time SOTY winner first got into skateboarding when he was 10. He recently launched his own board company named King Skateboards.

Started in 1990, the SOTY is awarded annually by Thrasher Magazine. The very first SOTY title was given to legendary skater Tony Hawk.
