Earlier this week, Louie Lopez made an appearance on The Bunt. It’s worth a listen if you haven’t made the time yet. At the 24:38 mark, Louie breaks down why he made the switch from Flip to Fucking Awesome, and gives story of exactly how it all went down.

It was for the right reason. Na-Kel, Tyshawn, and K.B., all of them are really good friends of mine… We all live in L.A.; and we all skate together all of the time. We’ve always joked about it…When it actually happened, I was like, “Oh shit, this is happening.” I got the call from Dill. He was like, “You ready? Let’s do this.” I was like, “Yep, let’s get it.” But it’s something that we actually messed around with throughout. As soon as I popped it on the Gram, I got a call from Dill.
