Yuto Horigome, Rayssa Leal Win SLS Seattle

Yuto Horigome and Rayssa Leal made their second straight win in the Street League Skateboarding. The SLS second stop was held on August 13-14 at the Angel of the Winds Arena, Seattle, WA.

Horigome is a Tokyo Olympics gold medalist, and a two-time X Games Men’s Street gold medalist (Chiba and Minneapolis). He also won the World Skate title in 2021.

Leal placed second in the Street League Super Crown Women’s Finals in 2021. She also won the silver medal in the Tokyo Olympics Women’s Street making her the youngest Brazilian Olympic medalist.

Vincent Milou and Chris Joslin came in at second and third in Men’s Street.

Former Street League Super Crown Winner Pamela Rosa placed second in the Women’s Street. Olympic gold medalist Momiji Nishiya finished third in the event.

The third stop of the 2022 SLS Tour will be in Las Vegas, NV on October 8-9. This event will be invite-only, but you can get a chance to win a trip and watch it in person by registering here.

Based on the cumulative tour points of the three stops, the top four skaters will automatically qualify for the SLS Super Crown Championship. The rest of the competitors will battle it out for the other four slots in the Championship Finals.

The Super Crown Championship will be held on November 5-6 at the Arena Carioca 1, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Tickets will be available starting on September 5.
