Schillereff’s Departure Punctuates Changes at Element
As if the Nyjah announcement wasn’t enough, Johnny Schillereff revealed yesterday that he has also left Element, which he founded with Andy Howell in 1992. Aside from marking the end of an era, this development makes you question the future of the brand. Its team page has noticeably dwindled. And Bam and Donny Barley are no longer representing the legends division, which appears to have been eliminated entirely. We’ll have to wait and see where Element goes from here. Etnies Welcomes Julian Lewis to the Team
Julian Lewis is the newest member of the Etnies Skate Team.
Originally from Newtown, CT, Julian now resides in Longbeach, CA. He has been featured in several videos including Foundation’s “Splendor”, Independent Trucks’ “Raw Mayhem”, “Hellscape”, and more.

Braden Hoban Now a Pro for Toy Machine
Toy Machine just announced that Braden Hoban has turned pro. The 20-year-old skater from Encinitas, California has been an am for the brand for over a year. Braden Hoban was one of the skaters who were featured in the “Toy Machine Vaccine” video released last year.
Braden won the Street League Skateboarding Ressurection: Hubba Hideout contest last May. SLS also named him as one of the participants of the SLS Championship Tour which will kick off this July 16-17 in Jacksonville, Florida.
Braden is also sponsored by Emerica, Independent Trucks, Local Skateshop, Pigwheels, and other brands.

Raphae Ueda Now On Board with Monster
Raphae Ueda is the newest addition to Monster Energy’s skate roster.
The promising 15-year-old skater finished 5th in the 2021 Skateboarding National Championships.
Raphae practically grew up skating since his father Lincoln Ueda is a famous vert skater and currently a coach in CA|TF. Growing up, he was constantly surrounded by skateboard icons such as Steve Caballero, Neal Hendrix, and more.
